Regina George would have had me booted from the lunch table. After all, Wednesdays we wear pink, right? I like to think that pink should be worn a little more often than that. I’ve never actually identified myself as a complete girly-girl. I’m actually somewhere wedged between a tomboy and a girly-girl. However, I like to let both sides show! That’s one of my favorite aspects about style; that it’s up to you, it’s personal. One of my favorite things to do is to pair feminine and masculine pieces together. My mom always dressed me that way as I grew up and I guess it stuck. Which is why I put this bright pink dress with a black leather jacket. It’s just enough to edge the look up without overdoing it. So my challenge to you is to play with some feminine/masculine pieces and see what you come up with! The thing I try to remember when doing so is keep a two to one ratio. For example, if I want a more tomboy look I would go with two parts masculine one part feminine. Such as a pair of boyfriend jeans, a baseball cap and then some pop of pink maybe in a tee or lip shade. It’s so much fun, give it a shot! If you come up with some good stuff send them my way at chandlerroberson@gmail.com! I love to see what you guys can come up with, and who knows, maybe you’ll be featured here! 🙂
